About
Regional Development South Australia (RDSA) is a member-based, not for profit incorporated association.
RDSA brings together all South Australian RDA committees to collaborate on shared priorities and provide a collective statewide voice on regional development.
We support coordination on cross regional issues and bring together regional evidence, priorities and insights to inform long term outcomes for South Australia.
Our role
Regional Development South Australia supports collaboration across South Australian RDAs on matters of shared strategic importance. It provides a forum for RDAs to align on priorities, identify cross-regional challenges and opportunities, and contribute to statewide conversations on regional development.
RDSA complements the work of individual RDAs by focusing on issues and initiatives that benefit from a coordinated, statewide approach. RDSA work closely with its member RDAs and engage with government, industry and other stakeholders on statewide regional development matters.
Leadership
The Hon. Rob Kerin, former SA Premier and Deputy Premier, and former Minister for Primary Industries, Mines and Energy and Regional Development is the independent Chair of RDSA.

Our work
RDSA leads and supports the development of statewide, evidence-based outputs informed by the RDA network, including the annual RDSA Summit, Regional Blueprint report, Regional Priorities Statement and Infrastructure Prioritisation reports. These bring together regional perspectives to support informed decision-making and long-term planning.
RDSA Summit
Each year, the RDSA Summit brings together leaders, policymakers, industry representatives, and regional practitioners to to discuss priority issues affecting regional development. It provides a forum to share insights, examine challenges, and support collaboration between government, industry, and community stakeholders.
