Overview
The Limestone Coast is an area of over 21,000 square kilometres containing a very diverse range of industry sectors which makes for a robust and expanding business community. The economy capitalises on the region’s significant groundwater resources. It is built from traditional agriculture based activities, but has now expanded to include forestry, manufacturing, tourism, engineering, transport, retail, health, education and service industries.

Regional Development Australia Limestone Coast (RDALC) works with business, industry, local government and communities to support economic growth, workforce development and regional investment across the Limestone Coast.
What we deliver
RDALC delivers practical programs, regional coordination and place-based support focused on the needs and opportunities of the Limestone Coast. Programs and support include:
- Business growth and capability programs for small and medium enterprises
- Workforce attraction, retention and skills initiatives
- Support for industry development and diversification
- Grant information, guidance and referrals
- Regional planning, research and economic data to inform decision-making
- Collaboration with councils, industry and government on regional priorities
