Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA)

The Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) is an independent, non-partisan, member-based public policy think tank focused on Australia’s long-term economic and social development.
CEDA undertakes research and policy analysis on major national issues including productivity, workforce and skills, population and migration, housing, innovation, and economic growth. This work supports governments, businesses, and institutions to make informed planning, reform, and investment decisions.
CEDA also delivers a national program of events, briefings, and forums that bring together leaders from government, business, academia, and the community to explore policy options and respond to emerging economic trends.
Through an arrangement with the Australian Government Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts, all Regional Development Australia (RDA) committees are members of CEDA. This membership provides RDAs with access to CEDA’s national events program, including industry briefings, networking events, and roundtable discussions that support collaboration and informed decision-making across regions.
